Does anybody know about this new model that is supposed to debut at the LA Auto Show in January?I heard its supposed to slot between 330i and the M3.

No. This is just a special run of sedans and only for USA and Canada. 2 countries where the old E36 M3 sedan was very popular. They will have only the 6 speed manual.

I have no doubt that this 330i PP car is meant to try and fill the gap left by the E36 M3 sedan.

i was looking through an old car and driver from 99 and it said that this generation on BMWs would have some sort of targa top.......its like a glass roof the slides back.....very similar to the one in the 911 targa...did this never materialize or is it just not in a america?.....also i heard that for 2004 the M3 will be getting a 10 Hp boost to 343Hp. anyone have any info on this.....and i know im not confusing it with the uncoming CSL....trust me im counting down the days till i see one of them
