Wire Loomlilsweets3138 12-20-2007, 06:58 PM I know this is an odd question but can anykind of wire loom be used for the engine of your car? Or is there a SPECIAL kind that you have to get. Thanks again. Christina Mangoamerican 12-20-2007, 07:16 PM anytype will do- just try not to get it close to anything hot- its bad for the loom and WAY worse for the wire JStumpalump150 12-20-2007, 07:26 PM i have it on all the wires and tubes under the hood and they are all fine, it does not get that hot under there to do any damage. (wow, i cant believe i let my engine bay get that dirty, lol) http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f268/JStumpalump150/CellPhonepics050.jpg lilsweets3138 12-20-2007, 07:56 PM That looks pretty good, yea my engine is dirty too. Need to clean it up some! So was it hard to put on? lol..i know thats a dumb question but I mean do you think I can do it? The loom is split down the center(the new one i purchased) but the stock stuff..omg they taped it all up and crap. Will it be safe If I remove the tape to put the new loom on? JStumpalump150 12-20-2007, 08:27 PM yeah, it will be fine. the hardest part is getting the original crap off. lol Classicrocjunkie 12-21-2007, 12:02 AM You'd all be surprised what simple green, a hose, and armor all could have done for you instead of that wire loom.....:( vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
