Does this model kit come with an engine?

I've tried to find some sort of review or shop with infomation on it but with no luck.

Also if this doesn't come with an engine is there a kit that does come with fuch rims and an engine. I was planning on putting into the hasegawa VW T2 Delivery Van.

It has an engine and Fuchs rims, but the rims are smaller than Tamiyas (as I was explaining in a reply to your other thread) :)

It is in fact an Enthu kit, so it has a complicated but nicely detailed engine.

But you may struggle with the wheels a bit. The wheels in Enthu Porsches are not designed with any standard Tamiya/Aoshima polycap system.

If you're really stuck on the wheels, why not order them from Tamiya through HLJ? They're Aoshima/Fujimi (female) polycap style.

There doesn't look to be any clear, easy way to do it.

If you don't need the wheels to roll, you should have no trouble. The Tamiya wheels will almost definitely fit on with no modification to the kit brakes/suspension, and they would be easily removable. However they will not roll. The Enthu wheels could be glued directly to the kit brakes, but obviously they won't come off or roll.

If rolling is important to you, you're in for some work with no real obvious route. You could transplant the brakes from the Enthu kit in place of the Hase kit brakes. This would likely take some effort to get everything aligned and attached properly, but the wheels could then be attached to the brakes and they would roll. However the wheel/brake systems on Enthu Porsches are somewhat complicated and obnoxious (no polycaps), and the wheels must be glued to the brakes- so there will be no removing the wheels afterwards.

With the kit brakes/Tamiya wheels solution, most Fujimi (non-Enthu) wheels would also work- they would be easily removed and replaced with the polycaps, but they still won't roll.
