Motor mount questions

Hi,

I am a new member looking for information about motor mounts for my 65 Comet Caliente V-8. According to the shop manual I use, the motor mounts are side specific but do not specify how to tell which is which. One motor mount's rubber pad is thicker than the other. Can anyone tell me which side the thicker pad goes on? I would sure appreciate any input available.

The thicker one goes on the drivers side to give more room for the steering.
