Shut it off, came back started it, it ran about 15 seconds and died. Has spark..not sure if its a fuel problem but I think so,mabe the sending unit or fuel pump...Its a 2000 xterra.:banghead:

Is there a check engine light on? If so go to Autozone or the like and have them pull the trouble code, for free they'll do it.

Your year has a fuel sending unit recall on it, which ASFAIK can be repaired even if you are past warranty. Check out the last post on this link:
