Thanks. jakegday 12-13-2007, 08:20 AM ive never heard of a cavalier with a trunk button, what i have, and what ive seen in other cavaliers, is a lever on the left side of the driver seat, what makes you think it has a button?? Nadinest 12-13-2007, 10:15 AM Why do I think there is a button?????......he says that everythiing is automatic except the seats. muff34 12-13-2007, 11:35 AM well unforunately for some reason there is not likely one to be found in the car .My `00 doesn`t have one and others have said the same. Now a button can be wired into car ,if he wishes to take the time to do it. Do a thread search and you should be able to come up with instructions. I did mine. JStumpalump150 12-13-2007, 02:02 PM here are instructions on how i did mine and it has been working great since i did it. it took me about 20 minutes. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=677518&highlight=jstumpalump150 JStumpalump150 12-13-2007, 02:07 PM millrtime 12-13-2007, 03:56 PM on the 03+ its a BUTTON under the dash, under the steering wheel and to the left a little. kinda in a weird spot in the middle of nowhere, but i would expect nothing less from chevy.... shakewell 12-14-2007, 12:02 AM The button on my 1997 is located inside the trunk lock tumbler. I have a special metal tool that I stick in and turn to push the button in. Maybe mine is special? johnny_reb4200304 12-14-2007, 10:58 PM well in some cars it is in the glove compartment on the left side but idk mine is a 96 and mine is a leaver on the floor beside the driver seat same with my 97 pontiac but make the guy with the button near the stearing wheel is right vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
