My 02 has zerk fittings. cfrank2 12-11-2007, 04:59 PM the information in the online application guide at amsoil.com said that my truck has 6 zerk fittings but i need to know where they are. mcconnell45 12-11-2007, 05:55 PM '03 and up have either 11 zerk fittings or 6 depending upon if you have 4wd..actually i think they should be the same from '99 up. Heres a list/location of all 11 Driver Side 1)Upper balljoint 2)Outer Tie-rod End 3)Lower Balljoint 4)Inner Tie-rod End 5)Pit-man Arm which is located at the relay rod Passenger Side 1)Idler Arm-located at the relay rod 2)Upper end of Idler arm mount 3)Idler Arm-at relay rod 4)Inner Tie Rod End 5)Lower Ball Joint 6)Outer Tie Rod End 7)Upper Ball Joint If you have a 2wd truck then you only have six that just include the four ball joints and the two outer tie rod ends. Hope this helps..I know theres a message board somewhere with the pictures..I'll let you know if I find them j cAT 12-11-2007, 06:46 PM i have a 2004 chevy silverado, where are the grease fittings and any other lube points on this truck? Thank you I believe mcconnel is correct take spash shields off use lithium grease watch rubber seals swell .too much grease with damage them then you'll have a mess. maxwedge 12-11-2007, 07:44 PM You guys are correct, my mistake. isie 12-12-2007, 12:01 AM on the 03 the 2500hd 2 wheel drives and the 1500 4x4 all have 11. I have one of both of them J-Ri 12-12-2007, 05:09 PM Additionally, if you have had a U-joint replaced, it/they are more than likey greaseable. It may not apply to this specific truck, but many/most "slip-in-shaft" driveshafts are greaseable. I also lube all bushings (A-arm, sway bar, leaf spring shackles, etc., anything that moves) at least twice a year with a silicon based spray. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
