Vt Engine Number

Hi there

I was just wondering if anyone could please tell me where to find the engine number on the 97 vt commodore, we were given one as a gift and found the vin number fine but having trouble finding the engine number if someone could point me in the right direction i could kiss ya!!

Engine number should be on your registration.

Also on your firewall on the left hand side of the car (or the right hand side looking into the engine) there is a metal plaque that will have the engine number on it.
