EatonZ 12-10-2007, 08:59 PM 2111 Engine speed sender. (RPM) 2113 Hall sender - No speed signal from distributor; check Hall sensor and circuit. Air-flow sensor plate is not moving freely; adjust potentiometer or lever. 2231 Idle-speed stabilizer adjustment limits exceeded; too-fast idle. Adjust throttle for full closing, check for vacuum leak, check ignition timing. Or Air Mass Sensor - Check sensor and wiring. jetta4j 12-11-2007, 01:26 AM dude..thanks alot for the help....would the hall sender and the speed sensor ones be on because the engine isnt runnung when i check the codes? ill definitly check the others because sometimes it does idle erratically and other times its fine....maybe its a dirty throttle plate or somethin....cool thanks man.... EatonZ 12-11-2007, 05:14 PM No problem, It's unlikely the codes are on because the car is off. Check for power to the hall sensor using a multimeter also. jetta4j 12-11-2007, 10:49 PM k....ill try that....thnx again...I may need more help..lol EatonZ 12-12-2007, 12:40 AM Never a problem.
