Hello, after a long time i've started this RGB500.
The basics are Tamiya's team gallina RGB with studio27 PE.

The decals are from ragged edge ( thanks Rod for the information ).

The first problem was the front wheel.
The kit has a five spoke wheel and the original has a three spoke wheel, luckely i had a spare from the Akai yamaha.

Other problems that have to been solved are the decals are from a imola 200 race and i want to build a normal GP bike, what means i have to paint the numbershields yellow and ad a number 8 decal.

I started with the rearbrakedisk, which is mostly PE.

After the rearbrakedisk is started the first front disk, which is also mostly PE.

on the engine is only the clutch PE.

To get the bike time correct to the original the rearbrake mastercilinder had to be re placed from inside the frame to the rear of the frame.

I have to build this bike in a very good shape because a collegue of me Knows Wil Hartog ( who does race some times on his '79 bike in demoruns ) in person and i want to give him some pics when its finished.

Wow, that's a name from the past - I used to watch Wil Hartog race at Brands Hatch when I was a kid! Looking forward to seeing more of the build:popcorn:
