2005 STS remote program instructions please

I've just bought a 2005 Cadillac STS and it only came with 1 working remote key, I have just purchased an after market keyless remote which needs programming and I dont want to go to the stealer!, would appreciate if anyone can help.

please clarify, did you buy a used oem replacement one or an aftermarket one?
