Well now that the bad white stuff is here I find out that our montana only has one operating heated mirror and its on the passenger side.
Does anyone know how to go about diagnoseing this thing?
How do I get the mirror off out of the houseing?
Anything you can tell me?

My wife successfully removed ours by hitting a mailbox, but I don't suggest that.
Seriously, though, when I put it back on, it just pushed on. It's held with two threaded rods that push into two holes and it's held in by friction. I think you could just apply even pressure on two sides and pull the glass, heating pad and mounting unit out of the housing. There's a plug for the heater.
I didn't even know it had heated mirrors 'til this happened.
Anybody know a place to get a cheap replacement mirror? Ours is a little shattered at the moment. :-|
