Anyone have any tricks ? Nope. That's an easy truck you should only have 3 wires there for ign. and acc. ign1 = dark blue ign2(only on 4.7 engine) = green/red acc. = black/orange Streetwise 12-03-2007, 12:49 PM That's what I thought, an easy vehicle, but I couldn't get a positive test for the Ign. & Acc. Every wire diagram I found is different. And the Ign. don't all test as Ign. Been a while since I've remote starts, but damn! ponchonutty 12-03-2007, 01:57 PM Not sure what info you are using but I know some companies were also using the Durango as wiring info but those are indeed different. Streetwise 12-05-2007, 03:36 PM Well, I might have issues w/ the unit. ponchonutty 12-06-2007, 07:45 AM What is it that you are trying to install? w9awx 12-06-2007, 02:58 PM OMG, don't believe someone just asked that. Did you read the topic of this posting? ponchonutty 12-06-2007, 05:37 PM OMG, don't believe someone just asked that. Did you read the topic of this posting? Smartass the "it" I was referring to was the brand/model of remote start. Read my posts and you'll see that I understood what he's trying to install. Streetwise 12-07-2007, 04:06 PM I don't have it in front of me, but it's a Directed electronics remote start, no locks. It was bought at Autozone, so who knows! Normally, I wouldn't do anything I'm not use to, but it's a favor. Streetwise 12-08-2007, 09:27 AM It's a Ready Remote 24926, (dei). I'm going through everything again. It's very possible I have something wrong. I thought the 2nd Ign. was green/red, but it doesn't test as ign. I know the acc is right, I jumped 12v to it and the heater powered up. ponchonutty 12-09-2007, 07:22 AM Just take your time and double check everything. Remember, you can go to www.bulldogsecurity.com to look up the vehicle's information. Also, those remote starters DO suck. I use to carry them in my shop for the DIY'r but I had horrible luck with them. w9awx 12-11-2007, 09:59 PM Sorry, Poncho. I couldnt resist. I am actually looking at installing a remote start myself next summer. ponchonutty 12-12-2007, 04:15 PM No problem. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
