what brand makes a brass core cap and rotor for the x , and where can i order them?

Never heard of such a thing. Just get the OEM part.

K ... got the oem part (not what i wanted) whateva .... now how do i get the rotor off. I cant fit a screwdriver in there and get to the set screw.

Ya gotta bump the starter for about 1/2 second at a time until the screw is pointed where you can get at it.

can the cap be off when i bump it? Dude, thanks for all your help and time i apprecite it!
