'77 454 in a 83 buick regalscoopy03 11-25-2007, 02:04 AM im having problems trying to find a flexplate that will fit on the crank that will match up to the stock th-350 in the buick regal. i tried 2 different flywheels so far. i tried one that was the same as the one that was originally on there (engine came from a c65 its same as the c class trucks). i tried to have the auto parts store match it up to the one from the truck and a flexplate i had from a camaro that had a th-350. that was the second flexplate i tried to find out that now of the holes no matter which way the flexplate was on it wouldnt match up right. sum up need to match th-350 from 83 regal to 77 454 engine from a c65 truck. don't want to change trans at the moment can any help with this one??? bobss396 11-26-2007, 07:03 AM Why not swap in a Turbo 400 or 700R4, which would give you the overdrive. Bob scoopy03 11-26-2007, 03:12 PM just want to see how the engine wants to run first. its been sitting for many many years and once i see what it does ill go from there. so do anybody know which flexplate ill need to get it to work? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
