I have a 89 firebird with the 305 TBI in it. Earlier in the yr I had a day when it was over fueling itself big time. I mean it was smokin black bad. That kinda just quit suddenly. But now it is so cold blooded you have to feather the throttle till it warms up a bit then it runs just fine. Does this sound like a coolant sensor??? I really don't want to take it somewhere and hook it on a computer. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

To avoid guess work a full scan will monitior the temp sensor from cold, as well as other issues that could cause this.

I have a 1993 S-10 that floods bad when you first start it. Then it runs fine. It is also a TBI.
