Yes its true its bloody easy to bribe police man,...for all sorts of offence...
The police will pretend to start writing summon, waiting for you to plead, then he will hint how to "settle"....then there it goes.

In fact, in Malaysia, the police are so lazy to work or risk their lives that you can just get away from anything. They only catch you if its easy or you are caught unaware.

If you have been going too fast, or they are out of position to be near when you make an offense,.....you dont even have to pay bribe, cause they are too lazy to chase you down.
