Me too!, Too many people don't like it, and I don't understand why. I made the trip down to my local dealer for the unveiling, it was spectacular.

What model BTW? 2.5 or 3.0, auto or standard?

Manual is the only way to go with a sports car

The magazine tests suggest that the Z4 is one great car to drive, so just ignore the fact that some folks (myself included) find the car aesthetically challenged.

my z3 2.2 has 170 and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 7.9

I don't know in kmh. 60mph=100kmh soooo, 115mph must equal about 150kmh. The top speed is electronicaly limited in the usa on every car

probably you have a very low limit you have another gear setting and so a better acceleration...

here in germany we have electronic limits on 250 kmh

yah, the speed limit around here is about 100kmh/60mph

yah. Our explorer is a piece of crap. They had to replace the brakes 3 time in 4 months. And in about a week they are putting in a new rear axle.

Yup, we had a Z3 and then the Z4-- great cars -- but i'll sell the Z4 to you cheap! (15K miles, 18 months old, and we have had a dead battery three times in the last 6 months. Today we picked up a nail in the run flat tire and they cost $300 each. second flat tire.) If you buy the car, get the tire insurance (or what ever they call it! You can only get it when you purchase the car.)

Great car I have a fully loaded 2005 Z4 3.0i and love it. I would advise getting the tire and wheel package if available...it's cheap when you have to replace one tire and wheel, it pays for itself, and you will at some time. My policy was 500 for 5 years and covers any damage and or flats no pro rating involved so that's a nice feature...already had two wheels replace 900 bucks and cost me zero dollars...the wheel had runout (warp). Both were on the curb side, these wheels are very easy to damage especially in the northeast with pot holes...have fun you will love this car....oh by the way 6 speeds is really nice.....
