Liquid coming out of the dashboard!spacecrow 11-08-2007, 02:41 PM Hello all. Chevelle 1972. AC but not operating. Liquid coming out on pasenger side behind glove box. Have not checked type of liquid yet, but did not look like usual greenish radiator water. On the other side of the firewall is a part of the now unused air conditioner. Two hoses which look ok connect to this from engine. Liquid comes out when engine is running. Any thoughts apprieciated. Thanks. 16th hippy 11-09-2007, 01:09 AM it's either a leak in the floorpan/somewhere getting water into cabin, or heater core. not much else it could be. bobss396 11-09-2007, 09:52 AM Heater core for sure. If you're slick enough you can disconnect the hoses from the heater core and make the car driveable until you get a new core for it. Bob Rodie40 04-30-2008, 11:30 AM Heater core for sure.
