MaximaSEAE01 02-24-2003, 03:23 PM hi, please don't flame but i have a maxima or a QX. mine is vq30de and i now have a vq35de...still waiting for a tranny but what problems might i run in? it shouldn't be too hard to do this swap would it? NightXCZ77 02-24-2003, 04:18 PM Isn't the new VQ35DE the 350Z/G35 engine? If that's the case (not sure if this is correct) it is a RWD engine only. I don't know if they made any with FWD transmissions. If not, you can get your bell housing adapted, but you'll have to get new headers, engine mounts - custom actually, etc... It would be quite a bit of work if they weren't produced FWD.
