94 park ave ultra obd codes?????

ok so as i have posted before my car has an odd stumble at idle and is getting horrible mileage so i figured i would go out and invest in a code scanner to try and narrow down my problem.....so i bought one that reads obd 1 and obd 2 figured it would be a safe bet on the 94 it has the port for obd 2 i hook it up it says connected but cannot retrieve any codes for some reason or another i hooked it up to a friends car and it connects no problem as well as my mothers car so i know the autoxray tool is working fine so does anybody know how to get the codes out of this thing because i know that 94 was the strange crossover year but have no idea how to get the codes out of it so anybody that has encountered this problem please give me some insight because i have to get this thing inspected very soon and i fear that it will not pass the way it is:banghead:

I may be wrong, but I don't recall seeing an Autoxray scanner capable of reading the 94-95 Buick. Actron CP9150 & CP9190, are the only reasonably priced scanners I know of, that will read the 94-95. Of course, I use a Matco Tools 9145, however, it cost double what the Actron sells for.
