suspension upsliquidkool 11-05-2007, 09:37 PM ive got a '98 z28 and want to stiffen it up. i was thinking bout getting some subframe conectors and a front brace. is there anything else i should be considering...like shocks or something? 89IROC&RS 11-07-2007, 01:12 PM youve got the major things covered there. the main problem with the f-bodies, that you already seem to realize is the flex at the subframe. after you get the chassis put together with the connectors, a set of shocks, springs, and in extreme cases a roll cage welded to the frame to tie the whole chassis together, will help over that. hotchkiss used to make what they called a total vehicle system, that really covered all the bases, and for what was included, wasnt a bad price, you might check and see if they still offer that kit. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
