Not really a race, but a race none the less. If your from the Richmond area you know what I'm talking about here...

I was coming back from doing a beer run, and was taking a left on to 360 from LaBurnum. 360 opens up to 3 lanes after you make the turn. Anywho, I got behind a S2000 at the light, and thought, hmm... what do these things run anyways? low 15's. should be interesting. Then a car with Xenons came behind me. I figured it was either some wangsta in a Lexus, or some rich wanker. Anywho, light changes green, and the S2000 takes an immediate right into the BP gas station. No fun. I kinda get on it a little bit to let the S2000 driver know I wanted to play. Next thing I know, I see the front end of a VW Passat... or something of the like pickup and fly by me at a decent clip.

About a 1/4 mile down 360 we catch a red light, and I catch back up to him, when I notice the S4 emblem. I get next to him, and glance over. Some middle aged guy, but he doesnt acknowledge me. Car looks completely stock, except for the stock wheels which are painted gunmetal. Light changes green and I take off normal, figurung it was some old guy in a rush, and figuring since it was a completely stock looking S4 he didnt want to play. Well I get to about 15mph when I hear him get on it like its the last day of his life. WTF? He's already at my fender when I reacted to nailed it, so he had already started pulling on me before I even started... Anyways, we took it up to about 90, and he had maybe a buslength on me. which leads me to believe it was infact completely stock. Dont these things run like 14's?

An S2k is a lower 14 second car, depends on the mods. Bolt ons do all of shit for them, but new gears can really help them out. They need FI to get some real power. S4, depending on year, can be anywhere from low 14s to low 13s, stock.

And if it was a B4 S4 with an RS4 turbo set up...He was probably just playing with ya.

Nice runs....my bro has a B5 S4......I love those cars and they can be real quick too....wish I had one :P

I was looking at some S4s before I picked up the Mazda. I was treated like shit at the Audi dealerships looking for a B5, and the used B4s all had way to many miles with VAG reliabilty...

However, I did take a ride in a RS4 turbo'ed B4 with a bottle and a few other goodies, and damn, that thing fucking moved. One of them just won the '07 SCC USCC.

And if it was a B4 S4 with an RS4 turbo set up...He was probably just playing with ya.
