I'm sick of giving $ to Mr Goodwrench.
My 2002 hd Duramax is a Lemon.
I'm thinking of buying a tundra.
The most I will ever tow is 3000 pound.
Would the smaller v8 do ok for this?
What kind of millage do the tundras get?
I most likely will get a extended cab 4x4.

Thanks,
ken.

if you do go with the small v-8 (4.7) they have a timing belt which will up your maintenance costs. the bigger motor 5.7 has a chain! also their have been some problems with the all new v- 5.7L their is a link below. if you want the 5.7 you might want to wait a year!

I own a 2001 4.7L 2WD, still going strong after 158,000 miles.
