hello i have a 87 crx and im haveing a problem with a fuse. I recently replaced the clutch and when putting the trany back on i got every thing back together and tightend the battery negative ground to the trany and the car ran good for a wile but i had to get a new battery after that the car ran like crap i looked in the engine to see waht maybe the problem and found that the negative battery ground to the trany was very loose and the car had been running off the alternator for a wile. The alternator went bad and i replaced it and tightend up the negative ground to the trany and now when ever i turn the key to start it blows the alternator carb solenoid fuse iv gone through the whole engine trying to find what is makeing this fuse blow but i am stuck and cant find what the problem maybe maybe when it was running off the alternator it messed something up i dont know I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is an alternator carb solenoid?
All cars are designed to run off the alternator, the battery only starts the car (unless your alternator fails, then your car will run off the battery for about 10 minutes until the battery dies).
There must be a shorted wire somewhere that became loose or exposed when you replaced the battery and alternator.
