Don ricksza 10-27-2007, 12:46 PM Disconnect the speaker from the connector and hook a 12 volt test light between the two speaker wires. As the volume is turned up to that speaker, the light will get brighter if the radio and wiring are good. If so, you have a bad speaker. djd99 10-30-2007, 09:34 PM hello everybody i have a 99 S-10 Blazer, the rear speakers quit working. The drivers side quit about 3 months ago. Don I had the same problem with mine. First the drivers rear door and then the pass a few weeks later.I pulled the panels and tried a junk speaker laying around and it worked fine. But the good news was it was time to replace the factory speakers with something decent. I put in some alpines and was good to go! candywrapper 10-31-2007, 04:05 PM Hello everone; I found the problem. It was the speakers, both blown. replaced bothe speakers and they work great. dont buy them from Radio shack. they wanted $ 120.00 for a set. went to a super Walmart ,got them for 40.00 ,JVC speakers ,120 watts each. thanks for the suggestions .
