I have what I believe to be a dealer installed alarm system. The FCC:ID on the remote control (which is separate from the key) is ELVAT5G

When I got the car, the horn used to chirp once when the alarm is locked and twice when disarmed. I dont know what i did but now only the lights blink with no sound from the horn.

I would love to have the horn indicator becuase it makes determining whether the alarm is armed or not much easier.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does your horn work at all ?

Yes my horn works normally. Also if the alarm is armed and I hit the car, the alarm system (which uses the horn) works fine.

I just cant get it to beep the horn when I arm and disarm it. It used to do that but stopped a few weeks ago. I may have pressed something by accident.
