coolant systemHsaldana363 10-25-2007, 07:27 PM hello all my 2000 LHS leaked water last night though it did not leak today i noticed that the upper hose, i was able to squeeze when the car is running regularly it should have pressure so that it shows water passage. how do i know if the water pump is done or if its the thermostat? also where are these items located at? please help thanks dan ramon 12-19-2007, 09:11 AM If you can squeeze the hose then change the water pump.what size motor?if its a 3.5 then its behind the panel in front of the motor,you will have to take off the timing belt,change the pump then reset your timing.about a 2 hour job.if you are in ohio hell, ill do it for 20.00 bucks,its pretty easy. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
