1998 Grand Voyager

Can someone tell me where the lubrication points are underneath this van? I have looked and looked...but not finding them, and I'm thinking that a good lube job is in order.

It doesn't have anything in my Chilton's Bible, other than to "Crawl under the vehicle and lubricate the components (take plenty of rags)". The illustration is showing me the items I'll need to do a good lube job, but nothing to tell me WHERE I need to lube.

I used to have a Ford Ranger, and it's suspension was a sealed contraption that didn't require lube, and someone told me this van was the same, but I'm thinking that it's not.

Pics would be helpful, if there's a DIY site out there that has some...All advice is always appreciated.

The reason they are difficult to find is there are no grease (Zerk) fittings on your car.

If you want, you can install zerks onto the lower ball joints because they will eventually run dry. Just unscrew the plug from each ball joint and replace with a 1/4 - 28 size zerk fitting, preferably one with a 45 or 65 degree angle, so you don't have to remove the wheel to add grease to them later.

IMHO, Chilton repair manuals aren't worth the paper they're printed on. Go to www.alldatadiy.com and purchase a subscription for your car....MUCH MUCH MUCH more specific and useful information than you will ever find in one of those little DIY chilton's manuals.
