I started to have me too a problem with
my car a strange noise that is getting more lound since i change the timing belt and others belt. Its like a click, click,click.....
Like if the valve were clicking but i check tha valve clearance and every thing is ok. No loss of power, very good fuel mileage every things is ok expect this clicking noise that dont stop to getting louder. It coming near the injector. Do noise occur in gear or in neutral.

My car is a civic 1993 LX, manual tranny, 150 000 miles.

Don't know what to tell you, that is strange. Some cars have that clicking like vw's and bmw's and even Honda's to an extent, but you say it's really loud?

its enough loud to hear it from the car but if you turn the music on
you will not hear it.

it is possible that the injector are making this noise???

Naw the injectors wouldn't make a noise like that.Check to make sure the oil is full but not over full if there is too little it may not be coating them(cams valves etc...) fully. Is the noise realy fast or some what slow?Have you changed your cap and rotor recently maybe, maybe new rotor I don't know you got me.if it is driving fine then just play the radio all the time, lol.

I think seriously its the valve that are making this noise.
The oil level is perfect.
The noise is getting faster with the rpm.
Do you have a idea own to reduce the valve noise???
Expect valve adjusting

I have no idea what that is other than just a natural noise maybe it's your pcv or pvc valve but I am not knowledgable about.

Thanks a lot jrx
I will try to put some 5w50 to minimize the noise of the valves.

I was wondering if you ever found out what was causing this problem...I seem to get the same noise out of my car...

if it sounds like it's coming from the valves, it's something in the head.. check/retorque all the bolts under the valve cover.. you may also have a bad spring...

AND NEXT TIME YOU WANT INFORMATION, START A NEW THREAD.. DON'T GO DIGGING FOR SOMETHING TO REPLY TO THAT'S 5+ YEARS OLD.

seriously.. all that does is piss reg's off.
