i have an 06 ram, 1500, v6 2wd. since i leased the truck last year i've had problems with the clutch pedal leaking down. i took it to the dealership and they replaced the slave solenoid. 2 weeks later the inside seal started leaking on my floor. they replaced it again, its still leaking and last friday i had no pedal at all and it still had fluid in it. i was powershifting to get to work. i finally talked to the tech at the dealership and he said he has never seen this problem before and that the o-ring that is breaking is in the same place everytime. he asked me how i drove and shifted. i told him that i don't race the thing and i don't dump the clutch. any words of wisdom, or anyone else heard of this?

If it is leaking inside it is most likely the clutch master cylinder, not the slave.

The only things that come to mind ....

They have a bad batch of parts that they don't know about. I ran into this on a rear window latch on a Chev extended cab.

Possibly something is out of alignment that is causing the failure. Not so easy to find and not too likely.
