One headlight is dimmer than another
on my xterra 2007, headlight on passenger side is alot dimmer than the one on the driver side. The dealer said that's how Nissan designed Xterra to make one side brighter than the other side and to help driver see better.

Does anyone know if this is an excuse they are making or it is the truth??

If someone told me that, I'd think they were high. Maybe it's true, and if so, I'd swap the bulbs so they are an equal wattage. There's nothing more annoying than someone driving at you with lights that are screwed up. Like brights on, lights shaking around, 1 burned out while both foglights work but are blue........
