seems alot of people have tranny issues..heres mineharmankardon35 10-21-2007, 07:49 PM well, its done this since i got it...and apperently not uncommon. Basically it slips for half a second or less when taking off. Say I was at a stop light, then I took off quickly...it would rev up a bit without going and then sort of grab and take off like normal. Its actually hard to notice unless you hammer the gas down. Ive read this can be a worn surface of an input clutch on http://www.tripleedgeperformance.com/4T65E_Transmission_Info.php However the symptoms described here are a false neutral that keeps your car from moving until you rev it up and it BANGS into gear. Mine does not do this. But i do have the slight shudder on high-torque takeoffs (that why i dont do it!)....Anybdy else half this annoying symptom? dizzle1 11-04-2007, 02:57 AM Im having this problem and this happend right after I changed my transfluid and filter. Now im scared to give it some gas off the line were it won't move but bang then go. If I drive slowy it will run through all the gears nicely and give it full throttle above 25mph. Im also able to gun it off the line but only when the engine is completey warm. I've only banged the gear once off the line it was like a internal kick it the drivtrain. But this never happened to me before?? maxwedge 11-04-2007, 10:14 AM More than likely both the posted issues are internal, a scan with a trans function scanner can look at internal pressure control and slippage error issues. harmankardon35 11-04-2007, 06:26 PM I have an OBD2 scanner...that says it will read any code set from any system on the vehichle (including transmissions)....have yet to get a tranny code...a few engine codes relating to evap system. My Intrique had it for awhile. It is caused by one of the tranny solenoids not letting go of the torque converter at stops. The fix is to add some Lube Gard Shudder Fix (called something like that) and it lubes the solenoid so it doesn't get hung up. maxwedge 11-06-2007, 04:27 PM A real trans scanner can look at solenoid functions and control and confirm their operation, this is what I am referring to,. burijon 11-06-2007, 07:35 PM This link has a good picture: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=678142&highlight=transmission+control+solenoid chnelson04 11-18-2007, 01:08 PM I have exactly the same problem which started right after the first fluid change. I will give the "shudder fix" a try. Thanks. harmankardon35 11-19-2007, 06:18 AM Back in the summer I added some "gunk trans medic" ..it was the only stuff advertised that didint say "stops leaks"...it was purly a conditioner apperently to give better high pressure lubrication and it coats all the surfaces to increase the trans life. I seriously doubt it was anything more than a bottle of universal synthetic ATF...because it didnt really do much for me. A lot of people have report success using it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
