Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Ok, I've managed to (after 2 hours due to lack of a ratchet wrench) remove the CPS from my Neon, which was throwing the CEL on. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the connector harness off of the sensor.

Anyone have ANY idea what to do? I've tried brute force, I've tried squeezing the red tabs, I've tried pressing down the rear tab. I've got oil trickling out of my baby, and need to get it back on asap.

If your connector was like the one on my 97, I pulled the red part out completely, then had to use a thin screwdriver to depress the locking tab, and wiggle the connector apart. It was a pain. Thats probably why the new cam position sensor came with a new connector - which I soldered on to replace the oil soaked one I had tortured to get open.
