I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with 127000 miles on it. When I turn the wheel to the left at slow speeds, it feels like the tire is wobbling. It also makes a thumping noise at slow speeds like a belt is broke in the tire. I cannot for the life of me figure out what this is. Any information would be appreciated. Possible it is the tire switch it around see and what happens, look for play in the hub and bearing or a broken cv boot indicating a bad outer cv joint, gotta start somewhere, basic checks.

I agree best thing to do is a tire rotation before thinking it is other steering and/or suspension components. Also, with over 100K miles the tie rod ends mainly outer are a common problem. A bad tire with a bad belt or lump which should be obvious if you do a close inspection of the tire will cause the thumping sound or a worn out tie rod end to clunk.
