Anybody hear of this swap being done yet?

Haven't seen it yet, but I don't think it will be long before we do though.
Some one from Belgium or France is bound to try something crazy like that.

It's going to be a PITA to fit the W8 in a Golf/Jetta though, but a Golf W8 Quattro sounds like fun :D

i have plans but no money with meaurements its going to be a tight squeeze but possible the funnest part is the tranny and wiring
