It only pops now cause I think I have something bad like control arm bushings or something(death wobble slowly starting). Maybe mine doesn't have that friction crap in the differential to help try to lock together the axles? kc11191 10-12-2007, 05:12 PM thanks for the replies. its not a awd. it has a shift lever inside for 2 wheel drive,4 high, and 4 low. i hope this helps because i have no idea what the problem is! steinmetzrichard 10-13-2007, 08:36 PM :runaround: my jeep front end wooples ftom 55 to 65 HanibalTheCannibal 10-15-2007, 08:19 AM I just bought an awd 1994 jeep GC 5.2, turns out that the Transfer cases in some of these are a pain. Look under the jeep, if you have the NP249 transfer case that has a vicous coupling, and you can bet on replacing it. 4wd vehicles should NOT drag or bind when turning. That is a definite sign of trouble in the transfer case, or you have a Limited Slip Diff that is locking up. A lot of people put the NP242 in place of the NP249 should you ever need to change it. I am going to be doing this in the spring probably. dcx96 10-16-2007, 12:40 PM simple change the cv joints> kc11191 10-16-2007, 07:03 PM thanks for the help! i think i will pass on this one and look for something else. again thanks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
