I have the stock 16inch Chrome rims, is it possible just to paint over the chrome? Also what paint would you recomend I saw they had rim paint at Auto-Zone is that any good? The chrome on these rims are terrible its peeling and any other tips would also be appreciated.

You'd have to have them professionally done if you wanted it to last more than 6 months. ALL of the chrome will need to be sanded/blasted off, they'll need to be prepped, primed, painted, and if you want them gloss black, they'd need to be clear-coated too.

If you spray paint right over the chrome, it wont' stick and will peel off at the next car wash.
