Help AC CORE?

So I was cleaning out my car and I lifted up my car mats and saw that both passanger and driver side mats and the floor were soaking wet. Luckily my back neighbor was getting his car repaired and there was a mobile mechanic to tell me that, he thought that my ac core was clogged up and should be cleaned out. So

1. Is it the ac core that is causing the problem?
2. Can I fix this problem (clean out ac core) myself?
3. ON anychance do any of you know of any trd s.c for 98 v6 camry?

Thanks,

Evan

It's really the tube that vents the condensation to the outside that get's clogged, not the core itself. Most shops will just blow some compressed air up this tube from underneath the car to clean it out. If you have access to compressed air, you can do it yourself. It is located underneath the passenger side of the engine compartment near the firewall. If you don't have acccess to compressed air, take it in to a shop and ask them to do it for you. It takes only a couple of minutes and the charge should be minimal.

I sure hope it's the A/C drain tube but, if the wet is slimmy and smells sweat with a green or orange tint, it's engine coolant. That would mean your heater core is leaking and needs to be replaced. Check your coolant level. If it's low, this could be the case.
