Yeah i think i may have posted this kill b4 as 04 accord, but i raced the same guy last night again, and it turns out is a 99, 4-cyln accord with intake and exhaust. Wasnt much of a race, we were all caravaning for Homecoming down hw 72, big 4 lane road..I pulled up first in line and he was behind me, he cut beside me and started revving. The sides lights turn yellow so we both start holding, i was at about 4-5krpm....Then it turns out the turn lets went b4 us :banghead:.....We looked at each other and both laughed, when the turn arrow went we started holding again. Right when our light finally turned green, we both launched. He lost grip, i did not. I got a pretty good jump on him of like a car. He never really pulled at all. We went threw 2 lights, and i pulled slowly. By the time we finished i had about 3-4cars on him. Wasnt that big of a race really. when we pulled up at the next light he said, Wow cheater and we started laughing. when it turned green he just got behind me and followed the rest of the caravan. Was pretty fun.

my friends 97 accord 4dr 4cyl with just Intake runs around 16.6...i ran him with my 95 4dr neon and lost by the front bumper. only b/c i had a 3spd auto to his 4spd auto.
the way i see it u cant win over a 99 accord 4dr(around what 140hp) by only 4 cars. and then beat an s2k(240hp) by 1 length...:slap:

especially when u consider that the sk2 has more power and weighs less than that accord. that's like saying my stealth tt beat a viper...not gonna happen even if i gutted the cats would it happen.

Gasp idk what ima do now, what happened happened. I have no reason 2 lie and talk like my car is fast. Its 3500lbs, with 230hp stock. Im over trying 2 be fast. All that i know is if people line up then we will race. No matter what kind of car it is. Around my area, there isnt a lot of "tuners". Most people are hondas with and intake and exhaust, the occasional motor swap, cameros, mustangs, firebirds, cavi's, and some trucks. Around my area my car is decently fast. That is fine with me. I have no plans on becoming the fastest car in the world, country, region, or even state. As long as i can hang with people in my city thats all that matters 2 me.

i got a better question...why is our economy going to shit. wal mart is having issues(one huge ass company) ford is having issues(well all american car companies other then specialties). federal minumum wage hasnt gone up in like the last 10yrs. teachers nurses and doctors are in short supply. i think big bad america is having more problems than just a war in Iraq

American car companies are in the shitter thanks to twenty years of not giving a damn causing a perception gap and the unions. But guess what? GM sales are going up while everyone elses are dropping (including Toyota).
