Brake Booster questionronjon_4 10-07-2007, 05:25 PM Hello, I recently replaced a brake booster in my girlfriends 97 grand cherokee laredo and although she has brakes again it seems like they should be catching a little sooner. I bled the brakes from the master cylinder (b/c those were the only brake lines disconnected) but still seems like the brake pedal has a couple of inches of depression before the brakes catch and they seem to catch quick. You can push the pedal to the floor with some pressure but after the vehicle is stopped. Just wondering if there is another adjustment that I am missing. There is a spacer that I didnt put on the booster b/c it would have pulled the booster out further causing the pedal to have a further distance to go to engage the brakes. So thats the deal. Any Ideas? kahjdh 10-07-2007, 10:37 PM Since you took the master cyc out you have to bleed the whole system. ronjon_4 10-09-2007, 12:32 PM Darn books leading me astray. Thanks I will do that and see if it helps vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
