Passenger power seat-doesn't workirvan36mm 10-04-2007, 02:10 PM Hi everybody! This is my first time posting here. I have a 2000 Intrigue GL. My front seats are powered,w/the heaters. The passenger seat doesn't work when using the switch to move it up/down/fwd/backward,etc. Also, the heater for that seat doesn't work, either. The heater switch for the pass. seat will not light-up in HI or LOW. The Driver's seat is in perfect working order. Recently, the pass. floorboard was soaking wet from the recent rains here in FL. I've since corrected that problem, using the suggestions found in this forum (Thank You,all!),and will have to check the blower fan next-but that's another story. Is it possible that the seat wiring, hidden relays, fuses, etc, may have failed due to those parts getting wet? What areas should I check first? BTW,the fuses for the seats in the passenger-side fuse box at the dash are intact & in good condition. Other than that,it's a great car! Thanks in advance! -George LittleHoov 10-04-2007, 11:26 PM If it were me, id being going test-light crazy to see if power is getting to the motor/seat, and if not start tracing stuff back. irvan36mm 10-05-2007, 01:16 AM Thanks! I'll try that first & post what I find out. Hoppy2 10-05-2007, 07:47 AM Sounds like a bad ground or a bad fuse. Start there. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
