When to change plugs and wires???? 95

I have a 95. I replaced the plugs probably 5 years ago (60K on plugs now, and 98K on wires) and installed Bosch double platinum plugs. The wires are original. I am not one that likes to throw away money so I am wondering when I should replace the plugs and wires again. Will bad wires or plugs throw a code? Can a tester identify when a wire / plug has to much resistance? I just replaced the spider injection sytem and replaced the cap and rotor while they were easily accessible, now I am wondering about the wires and plugs
Thanks

Use A/C Delco platinum plugs...ONLY! Good quality, (A/C Delco) wires are good for no more than 100,000 miles. 70,000 is a more realistic figure. There is test equipment for testing plug wires, the best is an oscilloscope. Bad wires and/or plugs can set a DTC on OBDII systems. Fuel filter is due and check fuel pressure as well.
