i purchased a pair of bulbs from them, auction ended on the 8th. i sent payment the very next day, and received an email saying payment was received and theyd ship within 48hours on the 15th. since that day i have emailed them 4 times. and just today, the 27th(almost 2 fuckin weeks later), i get an email saying theyre out of stock and i can get my money back or wait 2weeks for shipment. what kinda shit is that!??!!? how are they gonna sell something they dont have????

im pissed off on principal, but i could really care less. a week ago i got tired of waiting so i went out and bought new bulbs at a store anyways. just goes to show ya, just cause they have thousands of sales and a great rating, that doesnt mean shit.

Thanks for the tip. I'm leary about some of those high volume sellers anyway and it looks like its for a good reason.

My boy just got raped out $300 bucks for some of those 12" Army Dude Action Figures. He sent the money a few months ago and never has gotten his product or his money back. I have another boy who always has good luck on there though ordered mad amounts of car parts and shit, always gets it.

the only safe way is to put it in escrow, but im not sure if the buyer has the option to do that. ive actually had great experiences with ebay sellers, except for that one. i even emailed a seller outside of ebay and bought something from them that wasnt put on auction. but i received it no problems.

does ebay have any kind of insurance policy?

My understanding Ebay does have a 200 dollar insurance policy, anything over that your SOL. I don't know any of that to be fact though.

i have purchased 6 or 7 things from procarparts and never had a problem, actually they have been better than most sellers i have dealt with. i use ebay all of the time and have been scammed twice but not by them at all.

theyre a bunch of theivin' assholes. they finally got them in stock over a week ago, and i was told id receive mine by the 19th, never happened. now i just got an email from ebay saying that they were contacted by procarparts, and supposedly "we", as in the seller and i, have decided to not go through with the sale... and procarparts has asked for their auction fee refund. thats major bullshit, i have an email confirming they received payment over a month ago.
