Rothart 09-29-2007, 03:06 PM Can you believe it, this artwork already sold. I just finished it yesterday I posted it on a VW site and it sold this morning. Dboy23 09-29-2007, 03:40 PM How much did you get for it? Rothart 09-29-2007, 03:55 PM I got $100 for this one. It's cheap but this was one I just made for myself and someone wanted it for a t-shirt. nicecar 09-29-2007, 04:06 PM sweet, i cant believe things like this go for that sorta money! Nice job on this one. Rothart 09-29-2007, 07:49 PM Thanks nicecar. Yeah it's amazing what kind of investment the Adobe products can be. If you can find a demand for something then you can capitalize on it very quickly. Dboy23 09-29-2007, 08:16 PM Yeah congrats, hopefully I'll be able to do that one day. drunken monkey 09-29-2007, 08:23 PM $100 sounds too cheap. Dboy23 09-29-2007, 09:00 PM Ay if you need a manager I bet Drunken Monkey wouldn't mind :P. drunken monkey 09-29-2007, 09:22 PM I only say that because I have a friend who is an illustrator and I'm pretty sure she gets more than $100 (or the equivilant in £) for single commisioned work. Dboy23 09-29-2007, 09:25 PM He wasn't doing it for money though someone just happened to want it for $100, idk about you but I'd sell it. Rothart 09-29-2007, 09:33 PM Dboy is correct. It would've been double or more for a commissioned piece. This one just happened to sell this morning. I'd be willing to bet I could keep doing these and make good money by the time Christmas rolls around. Dboy23 09-30-2007, 12:00 AM Yeah me to, maybe make your own Web site, let me know what you come up with. Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
