Timing Chaindajones 09-28-2007, 07:10 PM Anyone knows at how many miles I should change the timing chain or belt for a Xterra 2005,Alternator Belts,Radiator Hose. Thanks for any help.:banghead: Sallachie 09-28-2007, 09:29 PM A repair manual will give service intervals chubbybubba1 09-28-2007, 11:27 PM A/C, and alternator belts every 30,000. The coolant hoses I do every 45,000. There's quit a few little coolant bypass hoses along with the upper and lower radiator ones. People overlook those. They get real hard and brittle because they are buried close to that hot engine. On the 2001 Xterra belt it's 110,000. Not sure on the 05'. Call the Nissan dealer nearest you for that advice. skibum1111 09-29-2007, 08:08 AM I believe the service interval for the timing chain is 100k miles. The manual for my 06 doesn't really have a definate answer. dajones 09-29-2007, 09:00 PM Thank you all. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
