im not sure where to post this but i guess this place is the right place...

my mom bought an 83 mercedes 230E..

i was wondering if we could install power windows/power locks in it? what would i need? how much would it cost? etc...

and it has a manual sunroof, can i make it an automatic sunroof?

also, its standard, and the center console is all messed up...is it possible to get a universal console or does it have to be a car-specific one? could i just cut it right behind the shifter and add something in the place of it?

You would need to find all of that stuff off of a mercedes exactaly like that one, you rbest bet would be in a junkyard, or a dealership (but that's spendy.) And haven't really seen any universal console's.

well the 230E is pretty rare, its not diesel or anything, it was imported from germany...like the manuel and everything is in german, so i think it'd be hard to find another one of these cars, even in a junk yard, but i'll check it out

and the power windows/power locks can't be universal either?
