F1 is fine
Race versions of road models count as race cars for purpose of the catagories.

it's only 1/43 so the detail isn't all that hot with them.
this one just stood out as being nicer (the others are a little rough) and it's also in a presentation box which adds to its appeal as a "prize".

I could buy a cheaper (or actually same price) 1/18 car because a bigger car will always be better detailed but um.... big = posting issues and it will take up lots of your shelf space.

I figure that 1/43 is a perfect size for a trophy.

And yes, if only they made this one in tri-colour.

Ive got 5 or 6 that I wanna draw, but as I said I havent drawn in about a year now, so I dont know how many ill get done before 'deadline'. They are mainly from the 50s, however I will move on to the 60s legends.

#1 - 1964 Ferrari 250 LM.

To confirm, I have a rather nice looking 1:43 IXO 575 GTC up for grabs for the public vote winner and I can't recall if there is also going to be a enlarged print up for grabs too but I'll sort that out closer to the time.

I've drawn a Scuderia, which I've already postet, a black 599 Fiorano which is the only black one in here, I think.

And I have a red 308 GTB which nobody in here has drawn yet.

Tell me were to post it and I'll do so.

This is a bit late but first of all, I've had a couple of questions about the status of this from new members.

To answer all questions.

I think I'm going to extend the final entry date for this until the 20th of this month; to give everyone a chance to finish (including me....) and for some new chaps to have a go.

I will definitely post a polling thread on that date but someone better Pm about it just in case cos I am busy with work getting ready for a month break away.

Don't forget, up for grabs is that lovely IXO 575 GTC.

^ That's because you didn't mention in entering them in. I don't know if it's a rule or not, but perhaps also you didn't draw it for the contest. Everyone that entered are drawing it for the contest, so I think previous work can't be submitted since it ain't new. But it wouldn't hurt.

ok, list is updated with all ferrari that have been posted since this started. I did this because there are so many, I thouht it'd be nice to have one place where we can all see what everyone's been doing.

OK, i'm off to dinner so I won't be doing the polls until tomorrow/the day after (time zone permitting...)

except I'm not sure how to do the voting system yet.
Initial thoughts seperate polls for each of the catagories then a vote between the three of them.

Except that doesn't prevent us ending up with multiple entrants for the prize car.

Some preliminary rulings that might have to be followed:
if an entrant has more than one qualifying drawing, only one can be put forward for the prize poll.

makes sense, no?
that does leave the question of who decides which, if it happens, to put forward.
Up to the people or the entrant?

Post here anything that you can think of that we might need to address.

Seriously overdue and I am very, very sorry about this but that little black car is still sitting on my shelf and it is still the prize for this.
