Hi-res McLaren pics (new?)Sauc3 09-23-2007, 09:50 AM Just went through a batch of pics. http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/2995/pict0110ce2.th.jpg (http://img503.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0110ce2.jpg) http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/4585/pict0111et6.th.jpg (http://img528.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0111et6.jpg) http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/5606/pict0112qz5.th.jpg (http://img222.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0112qz5.jpg) http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/3308/pict0113pu8.th.jpg (http://img519.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0113pu8.jpg) http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/1584/pict0115vm7.th.jpg (http://img519.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0115vm7.jpg) First 3 pics are from the same set, unsure of the chassis # however. The last 2 are both of Le Mans '95. Enjoy. hurstg01 09-23-2007, 10:09 AM All these are new to me I believe, so  to you!! pimp349 09-23-2007, 02:37 PM All these are new to me I believe, so  to you!! :1: Peloton25 09-23-2007, 02:47 PM I have seen the first pic in another set - it's chassis #047. The other two are new for me. The last pic was not taken LeMans as the pit garages are on the wrong side and look quite different. Additionally, the race number on the car implies this was a '95 BPR event, and one of the early ones prior to LeMans given the look of the nose of the car. The car in front would be #02R, the car behind should be #04R depending on the event. >8^) ER Le Man 09-23-2007, 03:59 PM The last pic is from Donington park. 95 BPR series. Nice scans Sauc3 :aus:..... :bigthumb: Keep them coming. Peloton25 09-23-2007, 04:28 PM The last pic is from Donington park. 95 BPR series. Thanks LeMan - that makes the second Gulf GTR in line #08R instead, as #04R only competed in the Jerez, Paul Ricard and Monza events before being abandoned after an accident in practice at Jarama. >8^) ER Sauc3 09-23-2007, 11:25 PM The last pic is from Donington park. 95 BPR series. Nice scans Sauc3 :aus:..... :bigthumb: Keep them coming. My apologies, you are correct. Reading more closely, this was Bellm and Sala at Donington where they finished out of the points. This image belongs to the first set which I had scanned at an earlier date. With the difference in quality between this technique and my new one, I might re-do this one... http://img462.imageshack.us/img462/6702/britishsportscarsvz1.th.jpg (http://img462.imageshack.us/my.php?image=britishsportscarsvz1.jpg) basman007 09-24-2007, 05:01 AM I don't think this needs a whole new thread, so I'll add them to yours. I didn't find anything spectacular, but you might like it :) M_Mullins 09-27-2007, 12:00 PM Daan, I love the back angle and interior shot :1: Naaa its the front that does it for me! :grinyes: basman007 09-27-2007, 03:11 PM Isn't there a thread on here that is used to post picture that you think are new, but don't need a thread on their own? http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6353103 http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2453725 http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2456335 http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2470336 Peloton25 09-27-2007, 03:36 PM I don't think we have a specific thread like that - at least not a recent one. I don't believe I have seen that first image before. The other three of #25R I have. >8^) ER Sauc3 09-28-2007, 10:49 PM Two more, although I have a feeling that some people might have this one already. Hopefully these are higher res at least for those that do. :) http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/2516/pict0138hr1.th.jpg (http://img521.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0138hr1.jpg) http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/8163/pict0139qj1.th.jpg (http://img444.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0139qj1.jpg) My guess is that this is XP3, but I can't be 100% myself... johnpaula 09-29-2007, 02:03 AM Hi, I found all the pictures great and loved them. I can say that you are really good in posting some good pictures of your favorite cars. I have a liking towards Mc Laren and posted it here.http://www.coolsupercars.com/wp-content/pics/2006/05/mclaren-f1.jpg Peloton25 09-29-2007, 01:09 PM My guess is that this is XP3, but I can't be 100% myself... It has the circular cut-outs around the door button and the early style Citroen side mirrors, but XP3 never got the production style front turn signal lamps. Of the cars I am familiar with it looks most like #001. By chassis #003 the cut out for the door button had become U-shaped and by chassis #007 (or sooner possibly) they had already switched to the VW sourced side mirrors. >8^) ER Sauc3 09-29-2007, 11:49 PM It has the circular cut-outs around the door button and the early style Citroen side mirrors, but XP3 never got the production style front turn signal lamps. Would this mean that all shots from this same series are of #001? Peloton25 09-30-2007, 02:55 AM I was going on the basis of the circular cut-outs and side mirrors, forgot about the indicators. Would this mean that all shots from this same series are of #001? Sure, why not? ...and I say "Sure, why not?" without having seen any of the other pictures. :screwy: Maybe you can share the rest and I can change my "Sure, why not?" to a "Most definitely" or something. ;) >8^) ER Peloton25 10-09-2007, 07:42 PM Not really high-res, but I think the pics of #020 on this link will be new for everyone. http://bil.feber.se/feber/tag/Carspotting?p=1 I figured I would use this thread rather than start a new one, and others are welcome to do the same with questionable "New?" pics they find on the web. I was thinking about making this the official thread for that based on basman's question and a suggestion that came from Daan, but I am not sure we need that kind of structure here. For the most part we do not get a lot of reposts and quite often new pictures spark a great discussion that would get lost in a long thread full of various photos. >8^) ER Peloton25 10-14-2007, 01:59 AM #023 getting its MOT test: http://img16.imagevenue.com/loc615/th_38819_21stjune2006020455_122_615lo.jpg (http://img16.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=38819_21stjune2006020455_122_615lo.j pg) >8^) ER Sauc3 11-02-2007, 08:53 AM XP56GT anyone? :) Most of you will have this picture, but I present it to you in a resolution of 1600x982. Thanks for the assist - that's where I had gotten these three images however I am not sure how I missed the others. :runaround: >8^) ER payso 01-31-2008, 05:29 AM saw these on flickr and wasnt sure where to post them: http://img217.imagevenue.com/loc72/th_75189_2225239079_a67652699f_b_122_72lo.jpg (http://img217.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=75189_2225239079_a67652699f_b_122_72 lo.jpg)http://img192.imagevenue.com/loc553/th_75191_2225239081_f780737326_b_122_553lo.jpg (http://img192.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=75191_2225239081_f780737326_b_122_55 3lo.jpg)http://img189.imagevenue.com/loc232/th_75199_2225251463_2fe9f57700_b_122_232lo.jpg (http://img189.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=75199_2225251463_2fe9f57700_b_122_23 2lo.jpg) http://img184.imagevenue.com/loc191/th_75187_2225239077_f2171210ca_b_122_191lo.jpg (http://img184.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=75187_2225239077_f2171210ca_b_122_19 1lo.jpg)http://img237.imagevenue.com/loc541/th_75198_2225239083_0816250e3b_b_122_541lo.jpg (http://img237.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=75198_2225239083_0816250e3b_b_122_54 1lo.jpg) hurstg01 01-31-2008, 07:00 AM ^^ already posted here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=457696):) roger_ph 01-31-2008, 08:54 AM splitter2 01-31-2008, 10:36 AM Nice pics :) not much a mcLaren fan but this car has something...
