2003 Silverado trailer wiring questiongwills 09-21-2007, 03:05 PM One pin on my 7 pin trailer wiring connector is not working. It is the aux power that stays hot all time. I assume there is a fuse blown somewhere but dont know where this fuse is. Can anyone help? Thanks! j615p 09-21-2007, 08:44 PM Hey, there should be a fuse in the panel under the hood that is for the aux. power on your plug. ltljon 09-24-2007, 06:38 PM Hey, there should be a fuse in the panel under the hood that is for the aux. power on your plug. I'm almost ashamed to admit this but I did not know these trucks (mines a 99) had separate fuses for the trailer plugs. I could only get one light to work on mine & finally gave up & took it to a trailer shop where the first thing the kid asked me was "did you check your fuses"? I told him all my truck lights worked so why would I need to check them? "Your trailer fuses" he said. DOH!!! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
